Tyson Fury makes sensational 'one night' fight offer to Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou

Tyson Fury has sensationally offered to face MMA heavyweights Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou on the same night as he looks for his next fight.

‘The Gypsy King’ was last in action against Derek Chisora in December but has struggled to finalise a fight to defend his WBC belt. Talks of an undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk and an all-British showdown with Anthony Joshua have faded away, leading to suggestions that Fury could be forced to look slightly further afield.

The lineal heavyweight champion recently responded to the idea of a fight with UFC champion Jon Jones on social media and previously faced off with former champion Francis Ngannou in the ring. UFC president Dana White has admitted his willingness to make a fight between ‘Bones’ and Fury, while the ‘Gypsy King’ has shared his thoughts on the matchup after listening to Jones speak about the potential fight.

"Here's a thought," Fury posted on his Instagram story. "How about this, how about I fight Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou on the same night, how about that? That's how much I value those two bums. Let's go, boys."

This was sparked by Jones admitting that he “would love” the UFC to arrange a fight with Fury, either in the ring or in the octagon. “Tyson Fury is just such a magnificent opponent and it would be awesome to make that fight happen,” Jones admitted. “I’m up for it and I’d even be willing to box him. Let’s see what happens.”

Meanwhile, Ngannou is plotting to make a high-profile boxing match before making his debut for MMA promotion PFL in 2024, with Deontay Wilder admitting the possibility of a two fight series between the pair earlier this month. When asked about Jones’ hopes of securing a fight with Fury, Ngannou dismissed the chances of the UFC coming to an agreement.

“There’s a difference between what Dana White says and what Tyson Fury wants,” Ngannou said. “So, as for right now, I think we are more likely to also have that fight, but nothing has been set up yet.”
