Tyson Fury is having an 'after party' in Wales

Tyson Fury is set to visit two sports facilities in south Wales as part of his after party tour celebrating his recent victory over Dillian Whyte.

Hosted by Gold Star Promotions in co-operation with Lyons Den security & promo, The Gypsy King will visit both Rhondda and Swansea to offer fans an up-close and personal evening, alongside a tour paying respects to some of the best sports facilities in the country.

The "once in a lifetime opportunity" includes entertainment, meet and greets with the champion and other special guests to celebrate an "evening to remember" with an opportunity to listen to the "leading boxing icon of our era". Tyson Fury successfully defended his WBC heavyweight title at Wembley Stadium with a highlight-reel one-punch stoppage in the sixth round against Dillian Whyte before reiterating his plans to retire. Promoters of the tour event remain tight lipped on whether his recent bout was his last but added that this tour would be a golden opportunity to meet someone who they said was, arguably, "the biggest name in sport today".

Tyson, alongside a number of special guests will travel to Rhondda Fach on July 15 and visit the neighbouring Swansea Warehouse-Gym in Cwmdu on July 16 with both events scheduled to start from 5pm onwards. Tickets for both events are still available by clicking on the pages for their respective locations: Rhondda Fach Leisure Centre and Warehouse-Gym Swansea.

Tyson Fury previously revealed his connection with Wales during his fight with Dillian Whyte when he shared a photo with Lyons Den Security and Promotion, based in Pontyclun.

"We're very lucky Tyson is coming to Wales, I'm from Rhondda and I am proud to bring him to my hometown, it's always either Swansea or Cardiff" said Brendon Lyons, head of Lyons Den Security and Promotion.

The close friend partnership between Tyson and his head of security was formed over five years ago when Tyson first toured in South Wales, having remained friends - Brendon also advised the boxer on a Ketogenic diet as he prepared for his fight against Deontay Wilder. "He is the greatest of our era and it's a once in a lifetime chance to meet someone of his stature, in thirty years time people will hold him in the same value as Muhammad Ali. It's a privilege to bring him not only to the Rhondda but also to Ware-house Gym in Swansea as I know some of the fantastic work they are doing there as we work closely with them in my own gym, Lyons Den Gym in Pontyclun. We could have taken him anywhere but we wanted to celebrate our partnership with other similar businesses and how much they are growing" said Brendon.

Ware-house Gym in Swansea has boasted enormous growing success in the past couple couple of years. First starting 18 years ago, Chris Ware took his love of dance music and fitness and combined it into 'Funky Pump fitness', initially renting nightclub venues to host his sessions. Today, he operates one of the largest state-of the art gyms in the city and isn't slowing down - he's also bringing international nightclub nightclub chain Sankeys to Swansea.

"We've got a great partnership with Lyons Den Security and Promotion and have done for years. We have brought the likes of Roy Jones Jr and John Fury to the gym and so it has naturally progressed into bringing Tyson to the city" said Chris Ware.

The gym owner expects the venue to fill with over 800 people on the big day with photos and opportunities to listen to one of boxing's great stories. "It's a great opportunity for us, as I'm an ex-boxer its a huge deal for me and we love that we can bring to our gym and show him some of the stuff we do," added Chris.
