Tyson Fury has named his new guard dog "Cash" after making millions during his career as a two-time world heavyweight champion.
The boxer announced after his second world title defence against Dillian Whyte earlier this year that he would be retiring from the sport, and has continued to insist that he won't fight again. He still has yet to hand over his WBC world title, but he yesterday confirmed he won't fight again after going unbeaten in his 33 professional fights.
And he has made a number of big money purchases in the aftermath of his £25million payday for defeating Whyte in front of 94,000 fans at Wembley Stadium. One of which was spending as much as £20,000 on a new Rottweiler guard dog.
He shared a video of himself with his new pet on Instagram, tagging his wife Paris. In the Instagram story post, he calls him by his name and asks the dog if he is eating a big bone, with Paris confirming that he has had dinner. The boxer then shared a video showing himself cuddling up with the new dog.
Fury brought the Rottweiler into his home with the help of Elite Protection Dogs, a London-based dealer which sells "exclusive dogs for exclusive people". A number of similarly famous celebrities such as football stars Ashley Cole and Jack Grealish have also brought in guard dogs after a spate of celebrity robberies.
The company advocate for Shepherd breeds as guard dogs, but also have Dobermans and Cane Corso breeds for sale. A description of the dogs backgrounds provided on the company's website reads: "All our puppies come from military and police backgrounds with generations of experience."
The dogs are trained from just three months old to protect homes and react to intruders. They are also taught to refuse food from strangers. "From the age of 12 weeks we start to train our dogs, seven days a week, with the best dog specialists and cynologists our company has to offer," the description continued.

"They get minimal correction in order to prevent negative psychological effects and to encourage their instincts. At the end of the day, they return to our loving families, employed to give them the balance of work and affection they need. This allows them to grow with exposure to a family lifestyle and put their training into use."
It's the latest in a string of big-money purchases, including a £300,000 Rolls Royce, which joins his Ferrari and a similar Rolls in a car collection that defies his insistence on living a "normal life". He told Top Rank's YouTube channel earlier this year that he will stick with a VW Passat once he's done fighting, but he has instead opted to drive in a bit more luxury.
The Fury family, made up of Tyson, his wife Paris and their six kids, live in a plush £1.7m home in Morecambe. During his fighting career, they split their time between the UK and a luxury house outside of Las Vegas, but now that he is no longer competing, it remains to be seen if Fury will spend as much time in America.
