Tyson Fury declares 'D-Day' as deadline approaches for Anthony Joshua fight

Tyson Fury has issued a 'D-Day' message to Anthony Joshua as it remains unclear if the Brit will sign his contract for their heavyweight title clash.

It seemed Joshua would be out of the heavyweight title picture after losing to Oleksandr Usyk for the second time last month, but he was offered a shot by domestic rival Fury at the WBC title. 'AJ' accepted the offer and the pair entered talks over finally settling their feud in the ring after their scheduled fight last August fell through, with December 3 being the proposed date.

Fury has insisted he will move on from the fight if Joshua doesn't sign his contract by 5pm today. "Today is D-Day people, f****ng D-Day," he said on his Instagram story. "Are you [Joshua] going to sign the contract you big p***y or are you not going to sign it? When [Deontay] Wilder sent me the contract for the first fight I signed it within 24 hours because I wanted to smash his face in.

"You've had the contract for 10 days now b***h and still haven't signed it. If it's not done by five o'clock today, the Gypsy King is moving on. He fancies himself as a bit of a j-hussy but really he's just a big body-building p***y. Get up!" Fury is expected to fight one-time WBC title challenger Manuel Charr if Joshua doesn't sign his contract for their fight.

Charr, who once held the WBA regular heavyweight title, sent a video message to Fury on Instagram as he stated: "Salam Alaikum Tyson Fury, you know and I know that Anthony 'P***yua' will not sign the paper, take my challenge. I'm ready for you. Fury responded to Charr's message by writing: "If he doesn't sign today you are in big G and you can show them how a real man throws down!"

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn claimed Fury was never serious in his intentions to fight Joshua by naming Monday as the deadline for him to sign the contract. "We waited nine days for the contract and we've been working very hard with Queensberry, no-ones been messing round, and we have meetings with BT, with DAZN, with Queensberry, to go through the process and get this done but it ain't happening on Monday," Hearn told iFL TV.

"The public know, you're going to fight Manuel Charr on December 3; it's a joke. so don't waste our time because we've spent a lot of time on this fight already. If you don't want the fight, just walk away. I don't think Tyson and Queensberry are on the same page; they can't be."
