Tyson Fury could retire from the sport AGAIN after missing out on an undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk.
The 'Gypsy King' was in negotiations with unified world champion Usyk over a potential battle to crown the first undisputed king of the division since Lennox Lewis in 1999. The fight was pencilled in for April 29 at Wembley Stadium but negotiations hit a snag after Usyk walked away from the negotiating table after being left frustrated by the WBC title holder's demands to remove a rematch clause.
This is the latest big fight that Fury has been unable to reach an agreement for having missed out on multiple occasions to settle his long-term feud with native counterpart Anthony Joshua. The 34-year-old had announced his retirement from the sport after beating Dillian Whyte last year but decided to make a comeback to pursue Usyk, beating Derek Chisora in a warm-up fight last December.
