Tyson Fury has been told he will still have the chance to fight Anthony Joshua when both men are in their 40s.
Fury and Joshua have a longstanding rivalry dating back to a sparring session in 2010. 'The Gypsy King' was offering anyone who could knock him down a Rolex watch and he teased Joshua by saying 'you almost had it, kid' after being stunned early on in the session.
11 years after that sparring session the British heavyweights finally signed to fight each other. Their grudge fight was heading to Saudi Arabia last August, but a US arbitration case ruled in favour of Deontay Wilder's trilogy fight with Fury and the domestic clash was scrapped.
Fury's trainer SugarHil Steward thinks their rivalry will never die down, stating: "Both of those men will have the opportunity to fight when they're like 45-years-old, who knows?
"Do you stick around and keep waiting for that or do you just live your life in peace knowing that you did everything that you could do to be successful and know that you put every effort forth," he told BT Sport.
"You can't worry about everybody else in situations that you have no control over and that situation he has no control over. It's too many other moving components to even think so deep about that. If it was just between him and Anthony Joshua you'd have a better chance.

"Now when you have it broken down into so many different elements, you kind of lose a real control of the situation and it's best not to think about it or worry about it so much and just live your life. I guess that's what Tyson has chosen to do by saying that he'll retire after this fight. Fair play."
Fury defends his WBC heavyweight title on April 23 as he faces mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte. The 33-year-old has admitted he only has a few more big fights left in him and wants to retire undefeated. Steward thinks few people will believe Fury when he announces his retirement, so it makes no difference as to when he calls it quits.
"Whatever he says at the time, that's what it is," he added. "As you know, everybody in the world changes their mind so it just depends how much you or anybody else puts thought into what he said. Nobody believes Tyson anyway so what difference does it make?"
