Tyson Fury announces surprise Netflix fight against 46-year-old ex-world title challenger

Tyson Fury has announced he will face veteran Polish heavyweight Mariusz Wach, 46, in a tune-up fight in Pattaya , Thailand , on Friday 24 July.
The bout, which will be streamed on Netflix , is a preparatory fight for Fury ahead of his anticipated clash with Anthony Joshua in late 2026.
This fight is scheduled just one day before Anthony Joshua's own warm-up contest against Kristian Prenga in Jeddah , Saudi Arabia .
Mariusz Wach, 46, has a professional record of 39-13 and previously fought Wladimir Klitschko for a world title in 2012, but was recently knocked out by Moses Itauma in July 2024.
Fury, who has been training in Thailand for several months, stated his excitement for the event and his focus on preparation for what he calls a "huge second half of the year."
