Tyson Fury accused of "s****ing himself" after denying fresh Oleksandr Usyk talks

Tyson Fury has been accused of "sh***ng himself" after denying claims the pair were back in fight talks over a December meeting.

Fury looked set to face Usyk this month at Wembley Stadium with the fighters having held extensive talks over an undisputed title fight but it was shelved at the eleventh hour. It remains unclear who the 'Gypsy King' will take on next following the fight collapsed, with Usyk's team walking away after being left unhappy by the WBC champion's public contract demands.

Fresh reports indicated that Fury could take on Usyk in Saudi Arabia in December this year as part of a four-heavyweight tournament which would feature Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder. Both Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn and Wilder's trainer Malik Scott appeared to suggest that the Middle East were indeed interested in making it a possibility.

However Fury immediately shot down the rumours insisting they were "bull****" on his side of the non-existent negotiating table. But Usyk's promoter Alex Krassyuk has now leapt to offer fresh criticism of the British star, writing on social media: "He's s****ing his pants again."

Neither Fury or Usyk have yet to confirm their next move in the division after the collapse of their mega-fight, but Usyk has been ordered to make a mandatory WBA defence of his title against Daniel Dubois in the summer. It is expected that there could be another window to revive the fight for all the marbles if Usyk does indeed come through his test against the domestic challenger.

Being part of a four-man tournament could also see Fury settle his bitter rivalry with Joshua after several failed attempts at making their all-British showdown. However it appears it could be off the table for now with the 'Gypsy King' having swept away those rumours shortly after returning to the gym.

It is likely that Fury too will not wait around until the Christmas period and will step in the ring this summer despite an opponent yet to be in concrete talks with the WBC champion. It is expected that Andy Ruiz Jr could move into pole position for a title shot given Joe Joyce lost his WBO interim title to Zhilei Zhang at the weekend.

Despite an opponent having yet to be discussed with the undefeated star, his promoter Frank Warren has insisted that a stadium date is already pencilled in as part of the fight plan. Warren explained: "And at the end of the day, Tyson's the boss when it comes down to what he wants to do.

"If he wants to fight this summer, he'll let us know, we'll try to make it happen. We need to know pretty quickly to invoke something in the during the summer. Especially if we're going to try and do something in a stadium in the UK, which is where he would need to fight to try and make it work here. But yeah, opponents, choices, that will all come down to a conversation with Tyson."
