Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs and Phil Whittaker haven't got off to the best of starts with their macho show of rivalry over Fiz Stape. And it seems the pair are far from cementing a friendship as they end up in another scrap.
New Corrie scenes filmed at a house in Didsbury show mechanic Tyrone, played by Alan Halsall, and Phill, played by Jamie Kenna, appearing to get into a fight. The warring characters could be seen sprawling in wet concrete during renovations at Phill and Fiz's posh new home.
Things get messy in the ITV soap after Tyrone appeared to give his blessing to his ex fiance moving away with her new man and their girls Hope and Ruby. He put a brave face on it as he waved them away from Coronation Street so they could make a new start.

But it seems there's plenty of unfinished business after Tyrone tried to settle things with Phill despite still having feelings for Fiz. And there are suspicions that Fiz is still holding a torch for Ty, who last year cheated on her with their lodger Alina Pop.
Last week in the Underworld factory friends Beth Sutherland and Sean Tully teased Fiz about her swanky new house and how she’s finally landed on her feet. She did her best to appear enthusiastic but she couldn't resist calling in to see mechanic Tyrone at the garage and he admitted how much he misses her and the girls.
Viewer @BabsSheKing commented on Twitter: "Fiz and Tyrone are getting back together, aren't they? I'm not imagining it? Hope so, I like those two together." And @GregDav94758992 observed: "Fiz and Tyrone seeing more of each other now than when they lived together.
@Samanth22356123 said: "This is the most long winded Fiz & Tyrone getting back together storyline ever!!!!" and @JamieTVandNews predicted: "Fiz will dump Phil, move back, Tyrone will stay, they'll get back together, and everything will reset."
At Christmas Tyrone and Phill battled it out on the cobbles with an inflatable unicorn over their feelings for Fiz. She found romance with Phill after Tyrone betrayed her.
The character had planned a 'Mamma Mia' style Greek wedding and was devastated to realise that he had feelings for their lodger, who fell pregnant with his baby. She and Tyrone grew closer together again after her troubled daughter Hope set fire to Alina's flat while she slept. After suffering a miscarriage Alina returned to Romania.
Fiz, played by Jennie McAlpine, was emotional as she left Coronation Street after living there for almost 21 years. She was seen driving away from the street where she was taken in by Roy Cropper and his late wife Hayley as their foster daughter. And she told Phill how the street held memories 'good and bad.'
Actress Jennie isn't leaving the soap, but Fiz is making a new start with Hope, her daughter with her late husband John Stape and Ruby who is Tyrone's daughter with his abusive ex Kirsty Soames who died last year.
Baffled viewers took to Twitter to ask why Fiz, who has always acted as a mother to Ruby since she was a baby, was leaving with Tyrone's daughter. @JamieTVandNews tweeted: "'I'll miss you' says Tyrone's daughter as she moves away without a biological parent #Corrie." And @RyanGTweetsTV asked: "Why is Fiz taking Ruby away from Tyrone? Ruby isn't even her child?"
Dramatic spoiler pictures recently showed another renovation disaster at the new house with Hope, played by Isabella Flanagan in the ITV soap, in the driving seat of a mini digger. The troublemaking schoolgirl looked terrified as she managed to get the piece of heavy construction equipment working.
She was then seen smashing it into the windscreen of Phill's car before an unimpressed Tyrone showed up and joined Fiz and her man in trying to deal with Hope's latest antics. Last year 10-year-old Hope left Corrie fans shocked and appalled when she started a fire while pregnant Alina slept.
She turned to arson in a fit of jealousy over Tyrone's relationship with Alina and the news that they were expecting a baby boy at the time. Alina later miscarried the child after being rushed to hospital while Hope failed to show any remorse for her behaviour as Fiz and Tyrone covered up for her together.
And it didn't teach her a lesson as earlier this year sneaky Hope helped cousin Joseph Brown hide up in Fiz's loft when he ran away from home. Hope and Joseph were given £100 each by Clint Stubbins, who found the pair wandering the streets, in order to bag the £30,000 reward money. He then split the cash with friend Bernie Winter when she found out what had happened and struck up a deal with him to help her hard-up family.
While fans of the ITV soap knew Joseph's gran Bernie didn't have a hand in Joseph's disappearance, Hope lied to her mum and grandmother Evelyn, telling them Bernie forced Joseph to hide in the loft and bribed them both in order to stay quiet. However, the truth did eventually comes out when Joseph told Fiz that it was all Hope's idea.
