Four things spotted in training as Tyrell Malacia settles in with teammates
United have touched down in Thailand as their pre-season tour begins. Erik ten Hag has taken 31 players to Bangkok in his first summer as United boss. The main talking point has been Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence, with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner not returning to training due to family reasons amid his transfer request.
The players were greeted by supporters at the Don Mueang International Airport. They were soon put through their paces in training ahead of their first pre-season friendly against Liverpool on Tuesday.

Fernandes makes Martial promise in clip from United pre-season flight
United striker Anthony Martial has asked Bruno Fernandes to provide him with plenty of assists next season as he looks to get his Old Trafford career back on track.
The pair enjoyed an exchange during the club’s flight to Bangkok for their pre-season tour. Fernandes was allowed to take control of the video camera as he documented United's trip.
Martial endured a rough season last term, netting just twice all campaign, once for United and once while on loan at Sevilla. His temporary spell in Spain - which began in January - was less than successful, picking up a number of injuries and failing to score in nine La Liga outings.
