The Dolphins dominated in Week 3, as the offense racked up 70 points in a lopsided win over the Broncos. While many fans and media members were quick to praise Tyreek Hill after his excellent game, the star wide receiver modestly deflected the commendations to his quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa.
Following the win on Sunday, NFL analyst Robert Griffin III took to X (formerly Twitter) in order to declare Hill as the league’s best receiver. But the 29-year-old directed the praise to Tagovailoa.
“Na QB1 just special,” wrote Hill on X, alongside a joyful emoji in response to Griffin’s post.

While Griffin saw Sunday’s win as further evidence that the Dolphins star is a step ahead of his fellow wide receivers, Hill humbly indicated that Tagovailoa is the one who deserves the credit.
Hill had nine receptions in the win, totaling 157 yards and a touchdown as Miami improved to 3-0 on the year. It was his second game of the season with more than 150 receiving yards, and he’s scored a touchdown in every game of the new campaign.
Miami's rushing attack was also devastating, as De’Von Achane and Raheem Mostert combined for 285 yards and five touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Tagovailoa completed 23-of-26 pass attempts for 309 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. That was his best performance of the ‘23 season, and Hill humbly spotlighted that after the win.
