The New York Jets made a run at Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill via trade this offseason. It’s well known.
However, he’s now referred to as Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Hill reportedly had some say in the matter and he wanted to play in South Beach, not the Big Apple. While appearing on ESPN’s First Take, Hill explained why and essentially doubled-down again.
Hill has said all offseason that he thinks Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is a top-tier player at his position. He even went on the record to say he thinks Tagovailoa is more accurate than his former QB with the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes.
That same accuracy is why the wideout wanted Miami over New York, or at least it was part of the equation.
Hill explained to former Jets linebacker turned co-host Bart Scott that Wilson has something in him, just Tagovailoa has something a bit more… specifically, more accuracy.
Check out the clip below for Hill’s response:
.@cheetah says Tua Tagovailoa is the most accurate QB in the NFL 👀
"I said it once and I'll say it again, Zach Wilson is a dog, but I'd rather play with the most accurate quarterback in the NFL." pic.twitter.com/UtKLEeEzhG
