The Eagles have an interest in adding Tyrann Mathieu to their secondary and according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, that interest is mutual.
The virtual visit from Mathieu could be an indication that he’s serious about the Eagles as a suitor after taking a meeting with his hometown Saints recently.
Anthony Harris’s return has been the only movement at the position, but adding Mathieu could add a swiss army knife to Gannon’s defense while providing Philadelphia with one of the NFL’s top leaders as well.
Mathieu, 29, is a three-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro and is coming off a season with the Chiefs in which he started 16 games and had 3 interceptions, 6 pass breakups, and 76 tackles.
