Tyne Wear Metro will resume at 8am on Boxing Day 2022

Metro Nexus Sunderland Pelaw Newcastle St James

Tyne and Wear Metro trains are set to resume on Boxing Day morning

There are no Metro services at all on Christmas Day. According to Nexus, trains will resume on Boxing Day fom 8am.

A "revised weekday service" will operate from 8am to 8pm on St James (Newcastle) to South Shields and Airport to Pelaw routes.
