A new month is almost here and that means it's time to prepare for a new Community Day. This July in Pokémon GO, get ready for Tynamo to appear more frequently in the wild. Trainers lucky enough may even get to meet a Shiny one. The July 2024 Community Day is on July 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., local time.
While that's still weeks away, trainers should be happy to know that there's a lot of event bonuses. These include:
- 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event lasts for three hours.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event lasts for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day.
- Trades requires 50% less Stardust.
Do the Research
During the Community Day, there's going to be some things for everyone to do. Those able to complete Timed Research for example get to receive four Unova Stones. Meanwhile there's also a July Community Day–themed Field Research and those who catch Tynamo can earn rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, and even additional encounters with Tynamo, to name a few.
Those who want to enjoy more activities can pay $1 and access the Tynamo Community Day–exclusive Special Research story.
Spend Some
During the event, there's going to be two Community Day bundles available and these are:
- Bundle 1 (1,350 PokéCoins)
- 50 Ultra Balls
- five Super Incubators
- one Elite Charged TM
- five Lucky Eggs
- Bundle 2 (480 PokéCoins)
- 30 Ultra Balls
- one Incense
- three Super Incubators
- one Lure Module
Trainers can also get an Ultra Community Day Box priced at $4.99. This one contains:
- 10 Ultra Balls
- one Elite Charged TM
- one Special Research story ticket
After Community Day
Even when Community Day is done, there's more for everyone to do. That's because there's going to be four-star Raid Battles available from 5:00 p.m. (local time) to 10:00 p.m. (local time) on the same day. Those able to claim a victory in one of these raids can cause more Tynamo to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes.
