Queens Park Rangers boss Gareth Ainsworth has confirmed that Tyler Roberts has returned to Leeds United for treatment after suffering another injury setback.
Roberts temporarily swapped Leeds for QPR back in the summer, and missed the World Cup in Qatar with Wales due to a calf injury.
He returned for six games after the World Cup break, and even scored twice in a 2-2 draw at Reading in January. However, the Wales international picked up another injury in February, and shared on Instagram earlier this week that the issue is worse than first expected.

Ainsworth has revealed that Roberts has returned to his parent club, but is still hopeful that the forward can still play a role for his side towards the end of the season.
"Tyler’s currently back at Leeds and we’re all hoping he can get his career back on track," Ainsworth said.
"Hopefully that’ll be this season – but it’d be towards the end rather than anytime soon."
Roberts has scored four goals in 20 appearances for the Super Hoops across all competitions this season. The 24-year-old joined Leeds from West Brom in 2018, and helped guide the Whites to the Championship title under Marcelo Bielsa in 2020.
