The Seahawks have one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL with Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. It’s certainly difficult to argue that there’s a more consistently productive combo. This year both Lockett and Metcalf posted 80+ catches and over 1,000 total receiving yards. Together, they combined for 97 first down catches and scored a total of 15 touchdowns.
Sadly, the rest of Seattle’s receivers didn’t pull their weight. Dee Eskridge was extremely limited by injuries again and Marquise Goodwin wound up only having one truly impressive game. If Seattle ever finds a legitimate WR3 they might-just boast the best receiver group in the NFL. That’s a story for another day, though.
Anyway, Pro Football Focus gave Lockett and Metcalf nearly identical grades for the year, placing both in the top 25 in their 2022 overall grades for wide receivers. Here’s the complete top 25 receiver rankings from PFF.
