Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd is ready to rally around whoever lines up under center against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night.
But he thinks it might just be Joe Burrow.
Buy Bengals TicketsAfter the practice that featured Burrow’s cart ride with Mike Brown, Boyd said Burrow’s displaying that leadership that makes everyone want to rally around him and that he thinks No. 9 will suit up on primetime.
“It’s set in stone, he’s a guy that’s gonna do what it takes,” Boyd said, according to CLNS Media’s Mike Petraglia. “Yeah I do, that’s my prediction…He looked good to me…I don’t want him to go out there if he’s not 100 percent.”
There’s no easy way to tell if Burrow is actually 100 percent, of course, but the team flirting with 0-3 already makes it easier to think all involved might roll the proverbial dice on him playing.
It would seem Boyd’s prediction differs from that of Ja’Marr Chase though, as Chase just had a really telling interview of his own that even mentioned he had a sitdown with coaches about the offense.
