Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams is among a number of players who could leave Elland Road following the club's relegation to the Championship. The United States international broke his silence last week and apologised to Whites' supporters following their dismal campaign.
Adams missed the final 12 games of the season and has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest in the close season. The 24-year-old midfielder was a standout performer for Leeds during the early part of the campaign and carried on that impressive form into the World Cup.
He struck up an impressive relationship with fellow Whites loanee Weston McKennie, who joined Leeds in the January window after the tournament in Qatar. Adams was linked with a move to Manchester United on the back of a solid World Cup.
A January move to Old Trafford would not come to fruition, having only joined Leeds last summer. However, a closer look at his Premier League statistics may shine a light on those links further.

Adams made 26 appearances in all competitions, 24 of those coming in the top flight but is among the division's best for completed tackles. In fact, the combative midfielder is on par with Manchester United's star man Casemiro, both of whom completed 89 tackles last season.
That stat looks more impressive when you take into consideration Casemiro played 53 games in all competitions last season, for both Real Madrid and Manchester United. Of course, the statistic only relates to the Premier League games, but the Brazil international played four more than Adams, with 28 of those appearances coming in the Premier League.
The Whites missed Adams' bite in central midfield in their relegation run in and he could play a key part in any Championship promotion bid next season, if he stays at Elland Road.
