Twynholm Primary pupils carry out litter pick as they work towards Green Flag award

Twynholm Primary School P4-6 classes carried a community litter pick as they work towards meeting the required criteria for their Green Flag award.

In order to attain the Eco School status, the children need to demonstrate they are taking action to reduce the litter which harms wildlife and costs millions to clear every year.

To carry out the work the children donned their hi-vis vests and were equipped with bags and litter pickers as they went on a search and find mission for discarded rubbish around Twynholm village.
