Two women were hospitalised following a serious crash in Paisley this morning.
The incident saw two vehicles – a black Ford and a silver Vauxhall – sustain serious damage with pictures of the aftermath showing the crumpled bonnets of the vehicles.
It occurred on Glasgow Road, just down from Kilnside Road, shortly after 9am.
Police raced to the scene to attend to the victims of the crash.
The vehicles were subsequently moved to the side of the road to await collection.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving two cars on Glasgow Road, Paisley, around 9.05am on Thursday, September 29."

“Emergency services attended and the two female drivers were taken to hospital to be checked over.
“The drivers exchanged details.”
