Two women 'assaulted' in Bristol as police launch photo appeal

Two women were reportedly assaulted in Bristol. Avon and Somerset Police say one of them was kicked in the body while the other was thrown to the ground.

The alleged assaults took place in Canons Road at around 2.30am on Tuesday, February 14. One of the victims suffered bruising and grazing as a result.

Officers have now launched an appeal to locate a man in connection with the reported incident. Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

Avon and Somerset Police said: "Do you recognise the man in this image? He’s described as Asian, around 6ft 1in, with short black hair and a black beard.

"If you can help us identify him, please call us. If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5223035858, or complete our online appeals form."
