Two women were arrested after suspected cocaine was seized by police following a car stop in Knowsley.
Officers pulled over the Audi on the Knowsley Expressway at around 3pm yesterday, October 13, after it was suspected the female driver was not insured.
The vehicle was searched and a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs, believed to be cocaine, was found.

The driver, a 43-year-old woman from Garston, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, drug driving, and driving with no insurance. Her passenger, a 36-year-old woman from Eccles, Greater Manchester, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Further searches were carried out at an address in Croxteth, where more suspected drugs and cash were found.
A 29-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A Drugs. All three suspects remain in custody.
An investigation has been launched by the Merseyside Organised Crime Partnership (OCP), a specialist team of officers from the National Crime Agency and Merseyside Police.
