Tesco shoppers will have two weeks to download a revamped Clubcard app as the current one is set to close completely.
The change, which will occur on April 18, will render the current app unusable in stores - however shoppers will still be able to transfer their points over to the new app.
As reported by the Mirror, the current app allows users to scan a digital version of their Tesco Clubcard in stores and where they can collect points and vouchers.
The new app, called the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app, will allow for many of the same perks as well as some new features.
Shoppers will be able to pay, view their points balance, spend Clubcard vouchers, order deliveries and check stock in stores on the new application.
If you don't want to download the new app you will still be able to collect your points using a physical Clubcard.
However, customers are advised to download the new app if they use the current version, and will be able to do so for free via Google Play and the App Store.
It comes after another recent change from the supermarket as it will be increasing its minimum spend for home delivery orders to £50, which is a £10 increase from the current £40 minimum.
However, Click and Collect orders will remain at the current minimum £25 spend across all Tesco stores in the UK, with a £5 fee for anyone with a basket under that requirement.
