Experts warn President Donald Trump’s vocal support for Elon Musk’s private car company Tesla could end up hurting it in two ways

On Tuesday, Tesla investors cheered as Trump defended Musk’s beleaguered and boycotted carmaker by lavishing the CEO with praise in a press conference as five Teslas lined the White House driveway.
