Two 'traditional' pubs in centre of Scottish city go up for sale

TWO pubs at prime locations in Glasgow have gone up for sale.

Hummingbird on Bath Street and the Beresford Lounge on Sauchiehall Street have been listed by property firm Christie & Co.

They described the venues as "traditional", with each having established histories in the city.

The Beresford Lounge, a licensed venue with ample space, is under 200m from Charing Cross train station.

It previously traded as a Scottish/Irish bar with food, drink and live music.

The other venue, the Hummingbird, is centrally situated on Bath Street, and includes a cocktail bar, a restaurant, a karaoke spot and a function space across its four storeys.

Both properties are available on a freehold basis.

The Beresford Lounge is available for offers over £595,000, while the Hummingbird is taking bids over an eye-watering £900,000.
