Two-time world champion Gary Anderson has launched a scathing attack on the dartboards used at Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, branding them "absolutely rank".
His comments come despite manufacturer Winmau having recently extended its long-standing association with the PDC for another decade in January, an agreement that saw the introduction of the new Blade X dartboard to the main stage. Anderson’s candid remarks followed Scotland’s dominant 8-0 victory over Norway in the last 16 of the BetVictor World Cup of Darts on Saturday. He did not mince words when questioned about his decision to revert to black points on his darts, moving away from the previously used golden variation.
