- Galopin Des Champs will miss next week’s Cheltenham Gold Cup.
- The legendary horse won the race in 2023 and 2024, before finishing second when going for a hat-trick of victories last year.
- However, the 10-year-old has been ruled out of the Gold Cup this time around, as confirmed by trainer Willie Mullins.
- Mullins told Sporting Life that Galopin Des Champs “has been ruled out for the rest of the season”.
- He stated that the horse “wasn’t right on Friday morning” and will not compete next week or in the rest of the spring festivals.
