Two teenagers have been arrested following an investigation into the alleged stabbing of a security guard in Adelaide's CBD on Friday, police say.
Police allege that a security guard was stabbed in the abdomen when he tried to stop four suspected thieves at a City Cross Arcade sports store, off of Rundle Mall, just before 5:30pm.
Police allege one male in the group stabbed the security guard and all four then ran off.
The security guard was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Following investigations, police say they have since charged a 14-year-old boy from O'Sullivan Beach with aggravated assault and a 15-year-old Flinders Park boy with aggravated affray.
Both boys have been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Monday.
Police say they are still searching for two other males.
Police search for youth after altercation
Meanwhile, police are searching for a youth after a man was allegedly cut by scissors during an altercation in Adelaide's CBD early on Sunday morning.
Police allege a 51-year-old man was approached by a youth on North Terrace near the Adelaide Railway Station and an altercation ensued.
The youth allegedly brandished a pair of scissors and the man received a minor cut to the chin.
The man was given first aid by members of the public and was then taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect, described as being a male youth of Aboriginal appearance wearing black Adidas clothing, was last seen running north across North Terrace and down Station Road towards the Festival Plaza.
