Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision on the A68 in Northumberland.
Emergency crews attended the scene of a crash involving a motorcyclist and another vehicle on the A68 Northbound following reports just before 11.30am on Sunday morning. Two casualties were found at the scene and were later taken to the Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary.
The incident led to disruption in Northumberland after the road was closed between the Wark turn off (Barrasford Park) and A6079 (Colwell).

The road re-opened partially at approximately 1.30pm, but delays continued into the afternoon, affecting traffic travelling between West Woodburn and Corbridge.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police, at the time of the incident, confirmed the attendance of officers at the scene. They said: "We received a call at 11:19am in regards to a collision involving a motorbike and a vehicle.
"We arrived at the scene at 11:47am. A road closure remains in place due to the collision of other vehicles on the road. The closure is still there for the time being while vehicles are uplifted."
A spokesman for North East Ambulance Service added: "We were called by police control at 11:26 to attend a RTC on the A68 Northbound. We dispatched two paramedic crews and treated two patients following a collision. Both were taken to the Newcastle RVI. "
The road cleared and traffic has returned to normal on the A68 around 2.30pm.
