Two Scots mountaineers were airlifted to hospital after being rescued from a Scots mountainside.
Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team were alerted after the two were injured on Saturday, January 29, after falling from Coire an t-Sneachda in the Northern Corries of the Cairngorms.
Fellow mountaineers raised the alarm and offered initial assitance before Mountain Rescue Teams took over and a helicopter was dispatched to winch the two off the mountainside to hospital.
No information is available on the condition of both at this stage.
A spokesperson for Cairngorm Rescue Mountain Team: "Two mountaineers were airlifted to hospital this afternoon after they were injured during a fall in the Goat Track area of Coire an t-Seachda.
"Initial assistance was provided by fellow mountaineers and visiting MRT teams before Cairngorm MRT members also arrived on scene."
