Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash involving a van and a tanker on the M60.
Emergency services were called to the motorway between junction 10 for Trafford Park and junction 9 for the Trafford Centre at around 9.20am on Tuesday (September 13) to reports of a collision.
Lanes one and two of the motorway network had to be closed for a number of hours as fire crews worked to rescue a man from the tanker using specialist equipment.

The man was then transferred to the care of paramedics for further treatment, and three other people received medical assistance at the roadside, Greater Manchester Fire Service said.
A North West Ambulance spokesperson confirmed two people had been taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
It's not believed any arrests have been made, and the M.E.N understands the collision was not referred to GMP's serious collision unit for investigation. The motorway fully reopened shortly before midday.
A GMFRS spokesperson said: "At approximately 9:20am this morning (Tuesday 13th September), firefighters were called to reports of a collision between a van and a tanker on the M60 between junctions 9 and 10.
"Three fire engines from Sale, Eccles and Altrincham fire stations quickly attended the scene, alongside the Technical Response Unit from Leigh. Colleagues from the Highways Agency closed lanes one and two of the motorway while firefighters worked to rescue one man from the tanker using specialist equipment.
"The man was transferred to the care of North West Ambulance Service colleagues for further treatment, and three other people received care at the roadside. Firefighters were in attendance for around one hour."
