Two people have been rushed to hospital after a car flipped on an Ayrshire road late last night.
A man and a woman from one car were taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital following a two-car smash on the A78 between Largs and Skelmorlie at 11.35pm.
Four men in the other car were uninjured, police have confirmed. The road was closed for four hours and police say that traffic lights are now in place due to barrier damage.
