Two North East police forces chosen by PM to conduct trials under £160m plan to 'stamp out' anti-social behaviour

Two North East police forces will trial new proposals as part of a £160 million plan by the Prime Minister to "stamp out" anti-social behaviour.

Rishi Sunak has pledged more police patrols and swifter punishments for those blighting communities. He will use a home counties visit on Monday to announce the UK Government’s anti-social behaviour action plan.

The plan will include trials of swifter justice measures and increased policing in areas of England and Wales deemed to have high amounts of low-level crime.
