Two North Dakota men discover they were switched at birth, raised by each other's families for nearly four decades before a Christmas gift changed everything

What began as an ordinary Christmas gift turned into a discovery that reshaped the lives of two North Dakota men and their families. Kyle Bylin and Jeremy Morrison learned in 2024 that they had been switched at birth nearly 38 years earlier after an at-home DNA test revealed they had been raised by each other's biological families. Born on January 26, 1988, at Unity Medical Center in Grafton, North Dakota, the two were the only babies delivered at the hospital that day. The revelation has prompted a lawsuit against the hospital while bringing together two families who say that, despite the shocking truth, the parents who raised them will always remain their family.
