Missing rugby player and X-Factor star Levi Davis, 24, has reportedly been spotted just minutes away from the pub he was last seen at in Barcelona, as cops are investigating two new leads.
Spanish police are now looking into the case as two new sightings have been reported in the popular Spanish city.
The rugby player's family have reportedly received a tip that the 24-year-old was seen in Placa Sant Agusti Vell, a homeless area and a square just minutes away from Barcelona's Arc de Triomf monument on Monday.
And just a week earlier, the same witness is also reported to have seen Levi in another square, near Barcelona’s La Boqueria Market - just a six-minute walk from the Irish pub where Levi was last seen.
Meanwhile, the other square where the 2019 X-Factor was reportedly seen at has been identified as Placa del Canonge Colom, which is located behind La Boqueria and near to the La Rambla boulevard.
According to Cronica Global, Levi's family said: "A person claims to have seen Levi in Barcelona.
“It has not been possible to confirm the information yet, and the search is continuing.”
The regional police force in Barcelona have also confirmed that it has been made aware of the information, with a spokesperson adding: “Our investigation is ongoing.”
After the former Bath rugby player was reported missing, a social media appeal was launched.
He was last seen on CCTV leaving an Irish pub in Barcelona at 10pm on October 29, after arriving in the famous city the same day after getting on a ferry from Ibiza.
The footage showed the 24-year-old carrying a small black rucksack, while wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt, black trousers and black and white trainers.
Reportedly, he abruptly left the party island with pal Richard Squire - with barely any money, spare clothes or passport.
He has not even used his bank cards since he vanished in the Catalan capital, and just had only 40 euros in cash on him.
Spanish police said Levi's phone signal was last detected close to Barcelona's Sants mainline train station overnight on October 29, but the mobile has not been used since.
As the investigation has continued, Levi's distraught mum Julie Davis flew out to Spain in a bid to find her son and retrace his steps.
While theories have swirled around his disappearance, his mother revealed that he did not provide the family with an address of where he was staying as he planned to be 'moving around'.
The worried mum went on to tell Spanish Daily ABC that he suffered from depression and had gone missing on previous occasions - but for “no more than two or three days”.
She said: "He would always come back or we would find him but it’s been 12 days now and this is not normal. He must be disorientated or confused."
Police are understood to have also confirmed that Levi is not in hospital, and has not been arrested as part of an "emergency" response to a missing persons report.
Levi featured on ITV's Celebrity X Factor in 2019 alongside fellow rugby players Ben Foden and Thom Evans in a singing group called Try Star.
He also appeared on E4's Celebs Go Dating in 2020.
