Two more people charged with murder after fatal shooting of Timothy Van Vo at Oxley home

Police have charged two more people with murder over a fatal shooting in Oxley earlier this month.

Timothy Van Vo, 38, died in the early hours of October 4, after allegedly being shot in the chest at close range outside the Oxley home.

On the day, police said a number of people approached the home and allegedly assaulted a person at that location.

Mr Vo, from Inala, approached the group before being shot. Police said the group then fled the scene

Jay Allan Roberts, 38, of Eastern Heights in Ipswich, was arrested in the nearby suburb of Raceview yesterday and charged with murder and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

His case was mentioned briefly today in the Brisbane Magistrates Court and adjourned until October 31.

Cheyenne Anniki Petryszyn, 26, from Norman Park in Brisbane's east, was also charged with murder. Her matter was adjourned until November 7.

She was arrested in Brisbane's CBD on the day of the shooting and has been in police custody, facing unrelated charges.

Four people have now been charged over the shooting.

Earlier this week, Andrew Van Mason, 26, was charged with murder and had his matter mentioned in court.

He was arrested the day after the shooting at an address in Mackenzie where police say they also discovered a methamphetamine lab.

On Saturday, another man, a 30-year-old from East Brisbane, was arrested in the Ipswich suburb of Riverview and charged with murder.

A car previously identified as a vehicle of interest, was involved in a fire at an address in Dutton Park a day after the shooting.

It and six other vehicles were destroyed.

Investigations are ongoing.

A car fire in Dutton Park was believed to be linked to the shooting in Oxley.
