Two men who died in a crash on the M25 are believed to be from Bristol. The pair, aged 31 and 28, were reportedly on their way to Amsterdam for a weekend trip when the collision happened in Surrey.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene near junction eight at around 3am on Thursday (February 23). It is thought their car crashed into a lamppost on the central reservation of the motorway. A third passenger remains in hospital in a critical condition while the driver has since returned home.
The Mirror reports that the group had set off from Bristol in the early hours of the morning. It is believed that a fifth friend had pulled out of the trip because he needed to look after his dog.
