Two men have been found dead at a set of high rise flats in Edinburgh.
Emergency services raced to a report of an incident at a flat in Greendykes Road in Niddrie after the alarm was raised at around 8.25pm on Tuesday, November 1. Two men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say their enquiries into the incident remain ongoing. As reported by Edinburgh Live, residents in Greendykes House, where the bodies were found, reported a large police presence throughout Wednesday.
It's understood officers were knocking on doors and questioning locals, as well as tracking the movements of residents leaving the premises.
A picture taken from the scene showed the tower block taped off with officers scouring the area. Several police cars were spotted in attendance as well as a command unit.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.25pm on Tuesday, November 1, police attended a report of an incident at a flat in Greendykes Road in Edinburgh.
"Two men were pronounced dead at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
