Two men have been arrested after a man was allegedly slashed in the face and leg in a horror attack in Leeds.
Around 11am on Easter Sunday (April 9) West Yorkshire Police were called to Bellbroke Grove in Harehills and found a man with injuries to his face and leg after he was allegedly stabbed with a knife. The 18-year-old victim was rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
Belbroke Grove was cordoned off by police. The force helicopter was also seen circling the area. Residents described the incident as "sad" and "awful".

Workers at a local health centre Harehills Pharmacy Enimed Group were also not able to get into the building. In an update on Tuesday morning (April 11) a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Detectives investigating a serious assault on a man in the Harehills area of Leeds have made two arrests.
"Two males, aged 17 and 20, have been arrested overnight on suspicion of wounding with intent and are currently in custody. Police are continuing to appeal to anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
"It took place in the Bellbrooke Grove area at around 11pm on Sunday, April 9, with an 18-year-old man being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries which were caused by a bladed weapon.
