Scanning technicians were present at the Manchester United training ground on Wednesday to assess two players.
It is understood personnel at Carrington waved through the technicians to scan two players 12 hours after United's 3-0 Premier League win over Bournemouth.

Van de Beek surprisingly walked off but was in immense pain and United manager Erik ten Hag admitted the injury was "a concern".
"Difficult to say, we have to wait 24 hours before we can give a good diagnosis," Ten Hag said. "I can’t say in this moment (what the extent of the injury is). You have to wait 24 hours, but it doesn’t look good."
Anthony Martial also came off in the 69th minute and headed straight down the tunnel, although Ten Hag did not sound concerned about his issue.
When asked if Martial was okay, Ten Hag said: "Yes, I think so. You have seen he got a knock, but he continues the game and then he came off."
Martial was not spotted in training on Wednesday although those who started against Bournemouth were due to have a recovery session.
