Two men from Manchester have been charged with drugs offences after a police check on a vehicle in Cheshire. The pair were stopped in Warrington.
In a statement Cheshire Constabulary said: "At around 10am on Wednesday 19 April, officers from Cheshire police stopped a Vauxhall Astra on Troutbeck Avenue. The occupants of the vehicle, Ryan Murphy and Amir Malik were both arrested at the scene on suspicion of drugs offences.

"Malik, 31, of Beamish Close, Manchester, and Murphy, 26, of Castleton Walk, Manchester, have since both been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine). Malik has also been charged with dangerous driving."
Both men have been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court.
