Half-term holidaymakers returning from Nice were stunned to spot royals Mike and Zara Tindall on their Air France flight.
The couple came home in economy class on the plane this morning, having been abroad to watch the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday.
Other tourists on the flight to London Heathrow were staggered to see Mike and Zara, and took photographs of them in the departure lounge and boarding the aircraft.
Zara, the late Queen's eldest granddaughter, appeared to need a rest as she laid her head back on the seat, while Mike looked at his phone.
James Smith, a fellow passenger, told The Sun: "I got a selfie with Mike before getting on the plane."
The 36-year-old man added: "We were blown away that they were sitting in economy class.
"Everyone left them to mind their own business - I chatted to Mike. He was very friendly and was a bit tired - probably from an after party from the F1."
During the brief conversation with James, Mike talked about the race, which Red Bull's Max Verstappen won.
Zara and Mike were pictured at the venue over the weekend.
Mike, the former rugby union star, was dressed in a yellow shirt, while Zara wore a floral dress and sunglasses.
The father of three was seen an easyJet flight to Ibiza after the King's Coronation earlier this month.
He was filmed wearing a white baseball hat and a navy T-shirt with the word "freedom" on the front on that occasion.
