The Little Stoke Sort It recycling centre will reopen tomorrow (September 3) - two days after a collision between two cars meant it had to close. South Gloucestershire Council tweeted yesterday that the centre had been closed for the remainder of the day - at the time it was expected to reopen today.
However, on its website, the council confirmed that the centre would not reopen today as planned. A spokesperson for South Gloucestershire Council told Bristol Live: "There was a collision involving two cars at Little Stoke Sort It recycling centre yesterday (1 September) in which two members of the public were injured.
"South Western Ambulance Service attended and treated the individuals at the scene. Little Stoke Sort It centre has been closed since the incident and will reopen tomorrow (3 September).
