A Gurgaon-based founder has triggered an online discussion after explaining why a household earning Rs 3 lakh a month may not necessarily consider itself financially secure. Dr Sunny Garg said rising incomes can lead families to expand their lifestyles around those earnings, eventually making it difficult for either partner to stop working.
In a video shared on Instagram, Garg illustrated his point with a couple in which both the husband and wife earn Rs 1.5 lakh a month, giving the household a combined monthly income of Rs 3 lakh.
