The Largest Look Yet at Lawyer Distress
About one in five U.S. lawyers met screening thresholds for moderate to extremely severe depression, and more than two in five screened positive for risky drinking, in what the American Bar Association calls the largest study of lawyer mental health and well-being ever conducted. The ABA and Pittsburgh-based Krill Strategies released the findings on Sept. 10.
