A two-headed Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu effigy was set alight at a Burning of Judas in Mexico City on Saturday (4 April).
Giant cardboard figures of the devil were set on fire on Holy Saturday to symbolise the burning of evil in the world.
This year’s chosen “devils” included the US president and the Israeli prime minister, with a figure showing both of their heads on one body, as well as the Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum.
The tradition dates back decades and symbolises Judas Iscariot's betrayal of Jesus for thirty pieces of silver, which led to his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane and then his crucifixion.
