Two handed life term for killing cab driver in 2011 in Noida

NOIDA: The district and sessions court in Surajpur on Tuesday convicted two persons for killing a cabbie and snatching his vehicle in Noida in 2011. The court also issued a fine of Rs 20,000 to each convict, Kamal and Rohtash, residents of Aligarh and Dankaur , respectively.

Sukhveer Nagar, public prosecutor, said that a case was filed at Sector 39 police station on July 21, 2011 by Brajesh Kumar, who complained that his wife’s brother Dinesh used to work as a cabbie in NCR and had gone missing. Dinesh had left his house on July 18 in his Tata Indica and did not return, he claimed.
