The bodies of a father and his 10-year-old daughter have been found following a shed fire at a rural property northwest of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to the property at Biggenden, west of Maryborough on Tuesday afternoon before making the grim discovery.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Detective Chief Inspector Gary Pettiford said the 54-year-old man who died was due to marry his partner and the child's mother next week.
