An urgent recall for two vape products that pose a "serious health risk" has been issued by the HSE because they contain too much nicotine.
Examined by HSE experts, the Fantasi Ice Orange and Fantasi Ice Remix Blackcurrant and Lemon were found to have a nicotine concentration of up to 25.3mg/ml.
In Ireland only two per cent or 20mg/ml of nicotine is permitted in vaping products, meaning these two products are now being recalled.

This week the HSE’s Environmental Health Service’s National Tobacco Control Office issued the RAPEX safety alert notice for the e-cigarette products saying they "contain more than the permitted concentration of nicotine and pose a serious risk to public safety".
The HSE has contacted all major Irish distributors of e-cigarettes and refill containers to tell them about the issue.
Anyone who has bought the Fantasi Ice Orange and Fantasi Ice Remix Blackcurrant and Lemon is advised to immediately stop using them and return them to the shop where they were bought.

He said: "Our message for the public is to check the Fantasi Ice products you may have against the two products involved in this alert.
"If you have any of these products, we want you to stop using it and return it to the shop where you bought it."
Dr Mulcahy added: "We are also asking retailers to stop selling the products listed and to contact the HSE with supplier traceability details.
"If retailers have sold or distributed any of the listed products, we want them to recall them by displaying a recall notice in a prominent position in their retail premises and on their website."
The Fantasi Ice Orange has a batch code of 201614188 and the Fantasi Ice Remix Blackcurrant and Lemon has a batch code of 20506085.
Retailers with any queries in relation to the e-cigarettes in question have been advised to contact the HSE at info.tpd@hse.ie.
Alongside this, the HSE is asking all retailers who have any of the Fantasi products to remove them from their stores and to contact the HSE with full product traceability details.
